1. Who we are

Glancr ("we", "us", "our") operates glancr.io, a secure one-time file sharing service. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@glancr.io.

2. What we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile information.

Uploaded files. Files you upload are encrypted and stored temporarily until they are viewed or expire. We do not read, analyze, or share your file contents.

Usage data. We collect basic metadata about file uploads and views (timestamps, file size, expiry settings, view counts). We do not collect IP addresses of file recipients.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, but never your card details.

3. How we use your data

We use collected data to:

• Operate and maintain the service
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (upload notifications, password resets)
• Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data retention

Uploaded files are permanently deleted from storage when they are viewed (for single-view files) or when their expiry time passes. Your account data and upload history are retained while your account is active.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@glancr.io, after which we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Glancr:

• Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Upstash — rate limiting and session management
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Cookies

We use cookies solely to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
