Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Glancr ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Glancr.

2. The service

Glancr allows you to upload files and share them via a secure, time-limited link. Files may be configured to self-destruct after a single view or after a set expiry period. We do not guarantee indefinite availability of any uploaded file.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@glancr.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Glancr to upload, share, or transmit:

• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the recipient's jurisdiction
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Content that violates another person's intellectual property rights
• Personally identifiable information of others without their consent
• Content that harasses, threatens, or harms any individual
• Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Glancr offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account page.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you retain Pro access until the end of your current paid period.

6. File storage and deletion

Files are automatically deleted from storage after they are viewed (single-view mode) or after their expiry time. We are not responsible for any loss of files or data. Do not use Glancr as your only copy of important files.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of any files you upload. By uploading, you grant Glancr the limited right to store, encrypt, and deliver your files solely for the purpose of operating the service. We claim no ownership over your content.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

While we implement strong technical measures to protect files, no system is 100% secure. Use the service accordingly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glancr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or unauthorized access to your files.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
